Compare Routes, Carriers, and More with Tive's Analysis Tools

Lane Comparison

With Tive's Lane Comparison functionality, you can compare Shipment Duration, number of Alerts, and number of Shock Events for different lanes in your supply chain. For example, the sample chart below highlights the difference in average durations for shipping lanes between various cities. 

Similarly, the chart below illustrates the average number of shock events on different lanes. This can help to shed light on which lanes tend to experience more potentially harmful mishandling while in transit. Armed with this information, the manufacturer and their partners can make more informed decisions and plan ahead with safety stock placed in strategic locations throughout the supply chain.

Carrier Comparison

In addition to lane-based comparison, Tive makes it possible to compare between the different carriers and third-party logistics providers used across different lanes. In the sample chart below, we highlight how Tive can highlight variance in performance across carriers.

Individual Shipment Comparison

Sometimes, you want to dive deep and determine how specific shipments compare to one another. Tive's Shipment Compare functionality makes it possible to view key metrics across all shipments, helping managers to identify patterns or outliers that might otherwise go unnoticed.  

For example, a single problem shipment might not be noticed if it doesn't skew the average across all shipments on that lane, but if the issue is serious enough, it could still be worth investigation. With comparison of shipment duration and condition alerts across all shipments, it becomes simple to quickly find problem shipments and determine what might be the root cause.
